Sat down and watched BYLETH today and I quite liked it. Strange and atmospheric little horror film that looks lovely and has a great score. The mood is wonderful right up till the climax, which, unfortunately, is a big letdown. Still a cool little film, though. Mark Damon did an OK job but I was more impressed by the beautiful Claudia Gravy in the female lead.
The X-Rated DVD is non-anamorphic but generally looks quite good. Here are a couple of screenshots:

The disc isn't without problems, though. You get the option of watching in German or Italian language with English subs but they obviously couldn't get the complete Italian soundtrack since it switches over to German a couple of times (mainly in the first ten minutes).
And as usual, X-Rated's English subs contain several clumsy and unintentionally funny translations. The most hilarious ones are these:
"He took away the boody from the scene of the crime"
"It was the day of the prositution's murder"
"Shut up your mouth"
But overall, it's worth watching. Especially if you like this type of film.
