Is the current Medusa Film related to Medusa Distribuzione?  I like the "Medusa Distribuzione" logo in the caps.  It also appears at the head of DELIRIUM/FOTO DI GIOIA.  It looks very sixties.  Its much nicer than the current Medusa logo.

I know, I was thinking the same when I was casting my eye over it. It's certainly a long review. but it's packed with interesting information about the film's production history. Fascinating stuff.

Many thanks for the kind words! It is a complicated film - so much to admire but at the same time it has some flaws that are inexcusable. But fascinating overall!

Yeah, I don't think it's too widely available. I got it on eBay but I haven't seen it anywhere now that I think about it...

An ebay.de listing I found for the film lists all of the audio tracks as being in 1.0 mono, is that the case?  The Japanese tape was in Dolby Stereo Surround.

Yes. Afraid so... The cover says English/German/Italian all in Stereo 1.0

That's unfortunate.  One of its good points is a strong stereo mix.

Ah well, been having the German VHS for years but I've never watched it, I am curious about the late Kinski in this one...maybe some day...
