I plan to grab a cheapo player (similar to the one available on ebuyer) someday, just to watch Region A disks that never make it to Europe.
Definately worth doing Andy, there seems to be more and more good stuff coming out that is region A locked.

I had Zombie 90, I sold it not so long ago. Kept it for several years for some insane reason but never watched it again.

SynopsisFrom acclaimed director Radley Metzger (“The Opening of Misty Beethoven,” “Barbara Broadcast”), THE IMAGE (aka “The Punishment of Anne” / “The Mistress and the Slave”) is an explicit study of the sadomasochistic ménage à trois between Jean (Carl Parker from Metzger’s “Score”), his longtime friend Claire, and young, seductive Anne. When Jean discovers the women’s master/slave relationship he finds himself seduced into their perverse sexual games.

Catherine Robbe-Grillet wrote it under the male name Jean de Berg.  In the eighties, Alain Robbe-Grillet wrote an erotica novel under the female name Jeanne de Berg titled WOMEN'S RITES which is well worth reading.

2013 Releases and more from SYNAPSE:

Quote
And, even with that list above, 2012 will be the year we venture into even yet ANOTHER home video technology. In November or December, in conjunction with an online streaming company, Synapse Films will be starting our own internet movie channel, featuring Synapse titles, Impulse titles, and a select few independent productions that will only be available for streaming from the channel. Another big thanks goes to our friend, partner, colleague and info man Charles Fiedler for getting this going and keeping the Synapse wheels turning behind-the-scenes, along with Shade Rupe.
What will 2013 bring? At this point, we do know we have a couple surprise announcements that horror fans will love, as well as a lot of other things like HANDS OF THE RIPPER, COUNTESS DRACULA, THE VIOLENT SHIT COLLECTION, MCBAIN, THE ODD ANGRY SHOT, SLAUGHTER OF THE INNOCENTS, THUNDERCRACK! and much, much more.
All things considered… not too bad for two guys in an office at the end of a noisy airport runway.

Don May, Jr. and Jerry Chandler

Because there are hordes of "gore for gore's sake" heavy metal / goth / emo (delete where applicable) enthusiasts out there who eat this sort of crap up with a spoon. You know it.
