I'd go to £50 for a definitive Suspiria.

Yeah, I'll probably pay for the tin too, if that's all that comes out on release day. Only problem will be the potential customs' fee. Hopefully, somewhere Customs friendly will stock it.

Diabolik will stock it if history is anything to go by.

Seconded. Although I'd rather not pay that much. I bailed on the Arrow Withnail and I disc due to the £50 price tag.

£50 for WITHNAIL? Why? I've not looked into it but have heard something about getting a quote on the box or something? £50 though?

Same here. Like Rich says, I'd rather not but will if I have to

Yeah, customised covers and you have your name on the numbered insert. In fairness it also includes HOW TO GET AHEAD IN ADVERTISING but there's no way in fuck I'm paying that much for what is ostensibly a gimmick.

Arrow can go spin - I wouldn't pay £20 for that Withnail release let alone £50. Hopefully it'll be released in a standard version next year.

I'd pay £20 for it. But for what is basically the same as the TCM2 set but with a customised sleeve then they can suck my stump.

Oh. And there will be an uncustomised version available from retailers. I believe the rrp is going to be £55. Expect prices to drop rapidly.

Yeah, I'd rather either.

There will be a standard release down the line, same content on the disc (maybe without HTGAHIA - which I have on SD DVD and that's good enough for me) but without the fancy box and it'll be priced £12-15.

Gimmicky packaging does nothing for me. I can take or leave Steelbooks and Digipaks but do have them but the rest of it, particular big cumbersome looking things or cheaply made shit (like the upcoming TCM set in the US) I swerve.

Source of what? Me saying that there'll be a standard edition at some point? I'm speculating of course but can you honestly see Arrow passing up on the chance to make a lot of money from releasing a standard edition of one of Britain's best-loved cult films?
