Just got mine - looks excellent! A Quiet Place has Engl audio (along with Italian and German) and Engl subs, A Ciascuno Il SUo has Ital./German audio and Engl. subs, while La Classe Operaia strangely has no English audio or subs at all. The fourth disc in the set features two long documentaries on the director (84 min plus 58 min, in Italian with German subs only). All subs are optional. Among the interviewees are Florinda Bolkan, Bertolucci, Morricone, Nero, Redgrave. Packaging style is minimalistic as usually from Koch - a bit too minimalistic for my liking. Great release nevertheless, a brave move from Koch imo. Especially sine Petri's pretty much unknown outside Italy, save perhaps for La Decima Vittima.
Thanks very much for your informative post prospero! I don't any of the
A Quiet Place in the Country releases and since
A Ciascuno il suo has got English subs, I think I might order it. Surprising that 10th Victim is the only proper release stateside. You'd think that at least
Investigation would be some that Criterion might consider.
And thanks for the info about the
La Classe operaia disc Ben. Didn't know that one had English subs. I've just ordered it.
