Tim Lucas reviewed it in Video Watchdog and didn't give it too bad a review. I think I'd trust Lucas' opinion over MacKenzie's.

Good enough for me!  :-X

Thanks, Mate.  :P

I wonder if BCI pressed the two Shaw brothers blu-rays that were coming out in January and if they did would they leak out.

Aaron:

I've pre-orderd both of 'em a few days ago from DVD Planet and they're still listed as being released on January 6, 2009.

We'll see.  :-X

Just had the Blu-Ray arrive this morning and gave NIGHT OF THE WEREWOLF a quick spin this afternoon.  I was very happy with the picture quality, when you take into account the age of the film and the limited amount of money BCI had to spend on the restoration, it looks great.  Only a pedant would be dissatisfied with the release.  It is well worth picking up before it goes out of print.  I paid £9.99 for mine from MovieTyme; for two films that is pretty good value.

I don't want to be thought of as pedantic  :-*,  so I think I'll order a copy.  :-X
