I forgot RABID DOGS in my list.  George Eastman and the Cipriani soundtrack seal the deal for me.

Shit, so did I and I missed HIGH CRIME.

I should have added the wonderful Tony Arzenta to mine, forgot how good this actually is.The cool and carefree way he shoots Ettore Manni in the gym at the start and then one of his henchmen/workers straight after plus that car chase that ends up at the church :),amazing.

Yeah, that car chase and shoot out is really well done.  I've got to dig it out again and give it a spin.

Blue Eyed Bandit  Later Franco Nero entry-classic

I've only seen the trailer for this on my VHS of IRONMASTER, and it looks great.  Classic wide-eyed frantic Nero moments.

I'm sure I've probably missed out some biggies, too.

Because I'm relatively new to the forum, and in case anyone cares, I love:

VIOLENT NAPLES
ROME ARMED TO THE TEETH
(the Merli/Lenzi/Micalizzi combo can't be beat for "pure action")

STREET LAW
REVOLVER
(my favorites of the films that seem to be saying something deeper)

MEAN FRANK AND CRAZY TONY
THE SQUEEZE
THE PERFECT KILLER
(I'm a sucker for Lee Van Cleef; wish he would've done more crime movies)

THE OUTSIDE MAN
FAREWELL, FRIEND
(my favorites of the French crime cinema)

MANHUNT
(the Di Leo/Silva one -- this is a perfect meeting of score, direction, performance, story.)

Live Like A Cop Die Like A Man
Contraband
Almost Human

Pretty new to this kind of films though. The ones i've seen so far contain just about everything I look for in a movie.

Good Inspector, nyet. No Merli.  I've yet to see a Merli film which has hit me the way it does his fans.

Don't know if I should add Contraband: As nasty as that is...Fulci darn him made Fabio Testi the most sexy bloody mess.  And that's the scene which thankfully sticks with me.

God i haven't seen this for years,Nero with a big blonde mane of long surfer style hair and that German actor Werner Pochath who later died of AIDS playing his usual villain role.
