It had a video release in Finland too. I'm looking for a DVD-R copy for friend of mine.

I don't think I am of great help here for you but not long ago this film was released as "Der Sohn des Scheichs" in Germany. The disc sports an acceptable 2.35 anamorphic print with German and Italian language options. No English track or subtitles, though, I am afraid. I don't know about English friendly DVD releases but the MCP dvd is a cheap budget title so maybe it's an option for a fandub.
