Does anyone know if AWE's Hands of Steel release is uncut? Thanks!  ::)

I'm pretty sure that it is. I didn't notice any sudden cuts, and besides, it's not a terrifically gory film to begin with.

Thanks, man. My print is from a Mill Creek box set, and I'm pretty sure Montefiori's death scene is abridged a bit. Might pick this one up.

discshop.se

boostep.co.uk (or .fi) also has some AWE dvds like Keoma, Bay of Blood, Mannaja and Cold Eyes of Fear, for only GBP 3,16 per DVD + pretty low shipping costs. Expect the finnish versions of the covers, even though the Cold Eyes... DVD I bought from them had a norwegian sleeve.

Even if the selection is rather limited (they had a whole bunch of other titles like Battle Force, The Last Hunter and The Last Jaws before) it's a great shop that ships fast, just like discshop.se.

You can login to your account on discshop to see the status of your order, I don't think you get a confirmation (I couldn't find one in my e-mail, so I guess not). Did you get all the AWE titles you wanted?

As for the titles being out of print: they are not. I just got an e-mail from them saying so.

Tradera.com. Which ones are you still looking for? I'll have a look for you in a shop nearby (in Stockholm) if you'd like?

You can get all of them at this Danish site, which ships internationally:
http://laserdisken.dk/html/

Unfortuently, most Scandinavian stores does not ship internationally, a very few does. The best stores that you can get AWE dvd's from, that ships internationally, is laserdisken.dk (Danish), discshop.se (Swedish) and subdvd.com (Swedish, with English version available if you click on the British flag). The prices on the Scandinavian stores are significantly lower than those on diabolikdvd and amazon.

Or even better, if you happen to live near a Scandinavian country, just take a trip across the border and pick them up there! You can get them at movie shops most big cities in Denmark and Sweden ("big" here in Scandinavia means a city with more than 100,000 inhabitants), you can find them in almost every movie shop in Copenhagen (Denmark) and Stockholm (Sweden). If you are in Copenhagen I highly recommend the FONA shop, there you can get many AWE releases for nice prices, I live in Southern Sweden but only 2 hours away from Copenhagen, I regulary take trips across the border to buy dvd's there. And in Copnhagen's neighbor city Malmö on the Swedish side of the border you can get alot of them at the Kvarnvideo shop. So if you holiday in Scandinavia, dont forget AWE!
