Hopefully it won't be a PAL-NTSC transfer.  Great Morricone score.

Excellent news really like this film and have been waiting for a decent DVD release. Any word on whether it will be uncut?

Dreadful cover artwork... such a shame as there were some great original poster designs for this. Still, this great film is well overdue a decent dvd release.

It says NOT RATED, 102 mins...

I read somewhere that the Legocart DVD has got extended dialogue scenes but is cut in other places...

102 min NTSC is 97 min 49 sec PAL.

Seems like it'll be the same as the uncut Dutch version then.

In my timing for the VHS I knocked off a few seconds as I didn't count the opening Rank logo as it's not on the Italian DVD.

I've got (unless i may have sold it i'm not sure) a video for pleasure Dutch tape which was a widescreen compromise at about 1.85:1 or in the region of, and it also went with the shitter title of "Rain of fire"

was this version uncut?

would that be a tape or dvd mate?

The Dutch VHS goes to full scope ratio for the end credits, something I'd not noticed before until I checked the running times today. I'd always assumed 1.85:1 was the correct ratio.

Be great to see this with a good transfer and in the correct ratio.

Also would have loved to have seen the original poster art, where Kirk is topless, on the cover...
