MarcMorris:
Just re-watched my old Paramount tape of this and wondered if it ever had a widescreen release anywhere?

One of my all time fave vampire movies!

Deranged:
I've only ever come across that long play Paramount tape - I'd love to see this cleaned up and in its' proper ratio!

ecc:
The film was shot in Technirama.  Like VistaVision it ran the film through the camera horizontally so it had a larger image area than conventional 35mm.  In addition, it used an anamorphic lens.  Prints were then optically converted so that they could be shown with CinemaScope projector lenses.  I'd love to see this in widescreen as well.

That's very cool - I would love a copy - although I must say those images do look cropped to me.
