It's not often a star of so many great Euro Cult films makes an appearance at one of these festivals.

It'd be great if we could get a few of us there  :P

Yeah I check the memorabilia site every now and again after they got Barbara Bouchet in but there's been no Euro Culters since.

Do you reckon you'll be able to get some posters signed for me? Just an EVIL EYE half-sheet and a CANNIBALS IN THE STREETS one-sheet I think.

How much does it usually cost to get things signed? I've never been to a convention/festival before and I'd like to go to one someday.

Depends on the event. The memorabilia fairs at the NEC and the like usually range from £10 to £25 per signature.

The Manchester fest I'm not too sure about, last time I went I met David Hess and he was charging a fiver. Sometimes there's no charge at all at Manchester, I guess it depends on the guest...

Well, I guess I'm pleased that I didn't get my ticket in advance as it's now confirmed that John Saxon will NOT be attending this festival...

Late Breaking News for 2008

It is with regret that we have to announce that in the last few days the Festival has been advised by John Saxon & Horst Janson that due to work commitments they will NOT be able to attend this year. I have also been advised that due to an alternative commitment Emily Booth will also not be attending.

Efforts are ongoing to replace these artists as promptly as possible, but because of both time constraints and the closeness of the event this could, and probably will, take up to the deadline. Please keep an eye on the website for updated information.

John Scott / Robert Fuest & Jess Conrad have all confirmed attendance ( subject to commitments )

The committee are sorry for anybody being let down, but this is the first year cancellations of this magnitude have occurred and we hope to replace the people with celebrities you will enjoy seeing.

John Saxon, Lamberto Bava and Coralina Cataldi-Tassoni were at Cinema Wasteland a couple weeks ago here in Ohio.
I usually like to go, watch the guset speakers, watch films and seek out a next day hangover but I was far to sick to stay very long this time round.
I would have liked to of had Saxon autograph some of my stuff but I really did not feel like spreading my germs.
Cinzia Monreale was also supposed to attend but for unexplained reasons did not show. She might be at the next one though...Which is a cool. I am not really looking forward to another "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" reunion again. Which is the theme for the next event.
Last two conventions were Italian Horror themed...Rumor has it they are trying to set up a Fulci's "Zombi 2" reunion which would be grand!
