watched this last weekend (the 88mins version) and I really loved it, although it is - imho - clearly inferior to Danza Macabra. Loved to watch Marianne Koch playing a sensuous and seductive lesbian temptress. Although, given the film's title, the whole thing has an unpleasant homophobic ring to it. Well, it IS exploitation after all.
The film has a lot in common with Bava's Operazione Paura (which was made earlier) and especially with Lisa and the Devil (which was made three years later). Oneiric is the word, I guess.
Glad to see that this title has finally been given a decent release. Margheriti is really underappreciated - his Sci-fi movies really are a treat. Plus, he handles the Gothic really well, both in his horror movies and in his Western (And God Said to Cain is the best gothic Western I've seen). Still, he's usually being overlooked in favour of Bava. perhaps it's because he's done so many films and has worked in so many different genres.
