What a treat this is. The melodies on this could make even the most cold-hearted bastard fall in love, I ain`t kiddin`, ha. Yes, it`s basically variations on a theme, but christ what a theme. Edda contributes to the mood here, in case anyone was wondering, some of her chill-inducing wordless vocals. This is a must-have for Morricone fans. Anyone else hear this yet?

I`m really interested in seeing the film, Mimsy Farmer and Ugo Tognazzi and a cast of Russians... they could be taking turns reading the phone book to this music and I`d still want to see it.

The samples I heard of this are way too orchestral sounding for my taste, but may check it out on your recommendation (like that Cipriani war soundtrack!)...

Okay, first of all, I represent that remark about PBJ, I didn`t come here to be exonerated Michael.  Just because I like a bit `o SPAM on mine doesn`t mean it`s alright to lash out like that.

This one is very orchestral Gary, but it`s one of those very few that has such a stunning melody. I`ve already got the film imagined in my mind, it`s made that kind of impression. I was listening to this at 2 am last night, it made the short list of stuff I put on to drift off to.

Teenager Sind Nackt, you`re a kind fella, and I`m tickled pink someone else likes this as much as I do. Beers are on me come the day...

Gar,   I can't say for certain that you'd neccesarily fall in love with the Margherita album..  but maybe one day?   When I found it I was looking for an album exactly this style (low key, maudlin, nice strings)  and I found it.   As for the Cipriani war CD..    You gotta understand I love the Italian male vocal going "oooh ooh"  together..    A lot of Italian music has that and as soon as I hear it I'm happy.     So maybe that Cipriani is more for a certain taste Margherita is just beautiful though
