n.p.

Ray Lovelock - Maggie

The quality is super plus I love the typical vinyl tone. Those cracking sounds (when the needle hits the spinning wax) are cool! ::)

My belated thanks to Johnny for sharing the 45rpm  ::)
Ray Lovelock also played guitar for a band Tomas Milian set up. Milian later said he wasted a lot of money for this amateur passion of music  :-\

Here Milian sings an Italian cover of A whiter shade of pale by Procul Harum  ;D

There are two Stracult segments dedicated to Tomas Milian, I got the first one upped on RS (no subs sorry), PM me if you need it.

I think not because there's no sign of him as a writer, composer o performer on ASCAP site, while Ray Lovelock's name is recorded
http://www.ascap.com/ace/search.cfm?requesttimeout=300
Moreover, being a collector of Italian libraries and soundtracks, I never saw a record by him so far on the scene.
It seems to me to remember during an interview Milian told he set up a band just to make some amateur performances in Italy, I'm pretty sure he told he wasted a lot of money for this passion.

I was partially wrong, there're two 45rpm with Tomas Milian singing at least, but just think that it might be a way to exploit success and earn money both for him and music industry during 70s, anyway there're no records by Tomas Milian's amateur band.

Tomas Milian - "Presto presto, scusa scusa - Un libro...una storia" DET - DTP 54 (1970)

Presto presto, scusa scusa is a track by Caetano Veloso.

He also sung Espanto en el corazon on Nicolai's score of "Corri uomo corri" CAM AMP 46 (1968)

You're welcome. Another 45rpm, both songs are by the Italian singer Roberto Vecchioni.

Coming back to the subject of this topic, if my memory doesn't fail, Ray Lovelock talked about his music in a interview included as an extra on a DVD.

I think it might be on the Raro DVD for 'Uomini si nasce...' (LIVE LIKE A COP, DIE LIKE A MAN). haven't watched it a while but I'm sure he gets his guitar out at some point on that. Or was it the NoShame DVD for ALMOST HUMAN?

I think it's on Uomini si nasce poliziotti si muore release by Raro video, but I'm not sure.
Here you can watch the videoclip showing the performance by Milian and Lovelock of Senza luce, the cover of A whiter shade of pale
