I am afraid that you are wrong, Sir  :) .

It's not my fault, Wildside changed their plan between my post and your post  :-\

And it's a good news!

I'm however shocked by the cover. Wildside usually create lovely package (The previous deluxe Profondo Rosso and Suspiria DVD edition are beautiful) but here it's plain ugly. Even MYA can do bether!

Inferno is probably the worse.

The other Argento release (only DVD, but with Italian and English audio)...

all for November 2010.

It seems that all blu-ray releases of Argento's films are FNAC exclusives. There are no Amazon.fr links nor any other retailers.

Suspiria
Tenebrae
Inferno

They are doing an Argento night this month welcoming these disks. The director of Amer is there I think.

DHL turned up at my door today but I overslept and didn't get the package (brand new French bd of Tenebre),no stress...I'm in a good mood...  :D

Apparently the Bird dvd from Wildside is botched up...but Tenebre looks nice.

Click captures for screencaps (full).

The extras are a bit disappointing though and subs may be fixed.
I will be getting the Arrow as well btw.

Residents of France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Swiss can get these discs for nice price in Wild Side on-line store.
The prices are reduced by 30% (BRs for EUR 13,99 and DVDs for EUR 10,49) and one can get additional discount of 20% with code eclnoel. Credits go to Ecranlarge site and Blu-ray.com forum member Kynch.

What's the point of being part of the EU if us in Britain get excluded from deals like this?  :-\

From Wildside's latest batch, I would recommend Il Gatto A Nove Code, Tenebre and Phenomena. They all have a very balanced contrast and a high level of details. Tenebre is really impressive. We can now see details invisible in the other editions. It really emphasize the clinical, ultra sharp photography of Luciano Tovoli.

The other films, Suspiria, Inferno, and L'Uccello... are either as good as what other companies have released or with suspicious colors (a trademark of Wildside).

Here some comparative tests:

http://www.1kult.com/2010/10/26/dario-argento-le-comparatif-des-etalonnages/

L'Uccello... has a nasty green tint. Inferno is too bright (it makes the shadows look blotchy) and Suspiria, well, it's the infamous ketchup re-master.

Still seems to be a Fnac exclusive...and ordering there is difficult if you don't understand French.

Otherwise at Wild side:
http://www.wildside.fr/video/fiche,tenebres,2128
Maybe mail them first for info?

Or There's one seller on Amazon.fr (new bd) that ships internationally.

Or else try contacting Broonage as he lives near a Fnac I believe.  :D

Correction, I lived near a FNAC, they closed the bastard down, but then again could be a positive thing as I'd spend money there every 2nd week or so!!

I do have several FNACs that are a short metro ride away though...  :D
Let me know Ben.
