Italian title 'Posseduta' - Literal English translation 'Possessed'

Read about this one in an old Video Watchdog from 1993 where the Italian VHS was reviewed. Sounds very interesting with 3 shepherds spending their last winter days in a cabin on the Swiss Alps. Superstitious about evil spirits they recite incantations to ward of the supposed threat to them and their herd and as a sideline make a 'love doll' out of wood and straw that is brought to life (by their semen) in the form of a naked Pamela Prati - former Playmate - who then skins them alive to steal their souls.

I'm guessing this hasn't had any English friendly releases over the years?

Italian VHS was released by Eden Video if that's any help towards tracking down a copy.

Here's a link to the cover of the German rental VHS, which I saw advertised in a video mag in '89.
Being underage, this really looked like my idea of an "18" back then.

Unfortunately I forgot about it over the course of time, so many thanks for that bid of nostalgia.

Unfortunately no, which is a bit strange as the lurid advert for the movie in the mag "Video Plus" was one of the earliest inspirations for me to take a peak into the "Index/Adult" corner of my local video store in Munich back in '89.

They're actually selling the German VHS (used, of course) on amazon.de.

The strange thing is though that the running time is listed as 70 mins and the rating is supposed to be a "16"- which would indicate a censored sellthrough version, since the "18" rated rental VHS landed on the "Index of restricted movies" and therefore shouldn't be available via amazon.de

If it's still there when I have a little more cash at hand, I might be tempted to order it.

Know this one and from what I remember I had mixed feelings about it...some cool and crazy scenes but on the other hand lots of cheesiness and lame moments as well...chances are good that a friend of mine still has copy of it, I'll ask around!
