I might be wrong but I could've sworn i read somewhere awhile back that an export version with h/c inserts was created (probably for the French market),can anyone confirm?

Finally managed to locate a copy of the French language h/c version (titled: L'HYSTERIQUE AUX CHEVEUX D'OR) from the widescreen IVS tape,unfortunately the quality is a bit washed out in places though still a nice rare addition to the collection.

Just got another dvdr of the IVS tape which is a huge improvement over the previous copy i had.

It did have a vhs (K7) release here in France with that title,i remember seeing an original for sale on ebay not too long back.

Apparently the h/c footage for the export version was directed by Alessandro Perrella who,as well as being assistant director to Rondi,also had a small role in the film as a journalist.
