The more peope who check the better. I really need to know if it is at all audible for a native speaker or if there is just no way. Someone might hear more than someone else does.

The second section is a bit tricky - lots of overlapping voices - will do a bit more work on it and follow it up with the final section tomorrow.

I've processed the audio signal - reduced the noise, removed the low frequency hum, etc... -  and here is what I found:

SEQUENCE A - near the elevator:

Voice 1: "She's been nosing around..."
Voice 2: "Then let's hide everything right away" (not sure about the "let's")
Voice 1: "Yes, we'd better get it all out of sight"
Voice 2: "Be careful though. He doesn't want anything changed"

SEQUENCE B - in the library:

These are random words/whispers. I don't think you should translate it. It's supposed to be unintelligible.

What I could hear: "... no, really? Where?... it's at the back ... I think it's a ner...sophy... by the way... are you going to listen... find the knight... it's about the relationship between Zen Buddhism..."

SEQUENCE C -in the apartment:

Again random stuff... The first part is in reverse. In the end we hear "...just be careful though".

Yes. These are mysterious voices, cryptic dialogs. They have no meaning at all, it's just a sound effect to create an atmosphere and build tension. By adding subtitles you will destroy the effect.

The only sequence you should translate is the first one, near the elevator. It's loud and clear enough to be understandable.

Pretty much what I think. It's the only one of the three sequences that makes any sense at all after checking out the other two a couple of times.

I always get mine from dtm.at - depends on where you are. Some of the American guys I know prefer to use Diabolik.
