I'll be getting that SICILIAN CONNECTION, not sure about the other one though...

the main theme of Brutti, sporchi e cattivi IMO is absolutely great!  :'(

but it's a particular sub-genre in italian scores, something about Rome's folk, sung and not instrumental

similar at Nun ce vojo stà and E lassame perde that were compiled in Tomas Milian cd-book

"oh ah oh ma ndò vai oh ah oh... vojo annà ndò me pare pensa pè te, vojo annà ndò me pare viè pure te"  ::)

excellent Nino Manfredi in the movie, located in a 70's italian favela, as Malìa or Milano il clan dei calabresi

Being a rabid De Angelis fan, I was surprised to find that I wasn't immediately drawn to 'Afyon Oppio,' but after a few spins, it totally sunk in. :)

Probably because it doesn't really sound like them much. A lot of the time you can guess/tell when you hear something but this isn't really like G & M at all. Still nice though.

Exactly how I felt. Usually I can pick out one of their scores right away, but this one took a bit to sink in.
