...but even then I've heard he was crying about them recently as they wouldn't fund his trip to Italy to interview Peter Bark.
This isn't true and what you've ben told has been taken out of context. 88 Films are a 2 man operation who hold down other jobs to keep the label going. The fact of the matter is that Calum, when making the remark you're referring to, was simply pointing out that there just isn't the budget to fund a trip to Rome for any interviews.
88 Films employ him and as such he wouldn't go around publicly 'crying' about the people who pay him a wage. It's all well and good not liking someone, for whatever odd reason, but it's very unfair to go on a public forum making statements that are based on secondhand information that's taken out of context.
Can we rein it in a bit as regards this kind of banter? This is a public forum and can be read by anyone, as such I'm not happy to have people thinking we're a bunch of bitter gossips.
I'm just saying what I was told by a fellow member of this forum.
If this is the case and it can't be said what if someone posts some "hearsay" like, "I heard that Raro video will be releasing a Blu Ray of Violent Naples" and then when asked for proof these isn't any and it's a "well, that's what someone told me", we'd best not even mention it eh, and only mention things that are 100% FACT that are coming out, and not things that "may" be coming out or that there is a "rumour" that they are coming out. The same applies doesn't it.
And who said (if he said it or not) that it was said "publicly", it may not have been said publicly, and what I read was written "openly" on facebook which a hell of a lot more people would have read than on here, may I suggest you get onto those who run it and tell them, after all, if I hadn't read it there I wouldn't have brought it up here.
