Horror Express is one of the short list of titles I replaced my DVD with the newer blu-ray edition, mostly because my old Image Entertainment disc was non-anamorphic.  It's got Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing, Telly Savalas, the Trans-Siberian Express, Cossacks, a monster on the rampage...what's not to like?

Inspector Mirov: The two of you together. That's fine. But what if one of you is the monster?

Dr. Wells: Monster? We're British, you know.

Those are the EXACT reasons that swayed me into buying it the other day!

I sold the Image dvd for a nice sum when the Severin disc was announced but then forgot all about getting it.  Anyway.... Spanish poster.

Very entertaining this one and that Severin disc is a vast improvement over all that came before.

And most importantly (to me, at least), HELGA LINÉ!  ;D

This movie is seriously my favorite Horror film after Lady Frankenstein. I love how it throws all those ingredients together in a crazy stew. Awesome cast, awesome monster, awesome soundtrack, awesome sets, etc.  :P
