Obviously when I compared them to drug dealers and pimps I was being a bit extreme but basically they are breaking the law by selling films that they don't have any rights to. Usually they are copying DVDs that are available elsewhere from official sources which takes money out of the pockets of the people who paid for the rights and who, more often than not, paid a substantial amount to have the film re-mastered for that DVD release.

In the case of 'fan made' DVDs and DVD-r's made from old VHS releases I'd rather see them traded between fans rather than have someone charge money for them.

Without a doubt, i can't make such things and i get angry when i see a fandub/sub a friend has made up for sale somewhere.
Imagine if i could do them myself, i'd be kicking down doors!

I'd like to order Blood And Black Lace from the Darkside Website.
They do still accept orders?

My all time faves!!!!

Anyone know if there's gonna be some new or updated issues at some point?
By the way, some of the danish video entries are wrong, incomplete or missing... So if any of you lot have an interest in having a .pdf file containing a danish Index of titles for all issues, I'll make one! (Umemployed for the time being!  :-[ )

I agree that the DELIRIUM issues are all great - especially the 1975-1979 book/compendium.  Definitely a MUST HAVE.
I remember the SPAGHETTI NIGHTMARES authors catching a lot of shit back in the day; accused of making up some of the interviews(?!).  Some of the interviewees claiming that they never spoke to the authors.  I can't remember the official outcome other than lots of euro genre fans dismissing their copies.
Via obsessive cross referencing - the book 99 DONNE by Nocturno has an amazing english section in the back.
One of the most complete italian language giallo reference books I still use a lot is I COLORI DEL BUIO: IL CINEMA THRILLING ITALIANO DAL 1930 AL 1979 by Luca Rea.
Still, I also always find myself going back to Craig Ledbetter's still amazing GIALLO issue of ETC.

Drop them an email Bruno. I bought both my copies (bought another after the first fell apart) direct without any fuss. Though it was a few years ago..
