Nick & I have been big fans of Terence Hill & Bud Spencer for many years now.
Miami Supercops is probably one of the worst movies they did together - the fight scenes are sparse and the few that appear are poorly staged. Bud Spencer just looks like he needs a good sit down (being in the audience during a Ruggero Deodato Q&A, he mentioned that when he worked with Spencer, he wanted to be sitting down in as many scenes as possible!)
Most of the Spencer/Hill movies set in the modern day (especially in an American setting) could have been improved by judicious pruning during post-production, making them tighter and less ponderous.
Probably our favourite out of all of them is Watch Out! We're Mad!, which sees the guys taking on the Mob in order to get replacement dune buggy out of them. Donald Pleasance is in it, too - delivering what is probably the most over-the-top performance of his career. Does anyone know if an anamorphic English language copy of this is out on DVD?
We are also in possession of mint LP soundtracks to one or two of their movies, including Go For It! and Who Finds A Friend, Finds A Treasure (which has got the catchy summer song, Movin't Cruisin' by The Oceans on it!)
Cheers!
