I have them both but have only seen the latter - I thought it was great fun - with an impressively kitsch opening tune that's called "What's Going On In Brazil", or something.

Just viewed the trialer for MIAMI SUPERCOPS.

I concur, not very good looking but that wasn't why I watched it.
Watched it for the sites of my hometown.
"Parrot Jungle" doesn't exist in that form any longer and the whale show at "Miami Seaquarium" only has one whale now, not two.

Ironically we are now shooting a spaghetti western in the old "Flipper" set right across from the seaquriam where Corbucci shot a portion of his film.

The flipper set is now called "Jimbo's" if anybody is interested of visiting. I wouldn't if I we're you. It smells like shit. :o

Make sure you get CRIMEBUSTERS first Hunchback which outside of WATCH OUT WE'RE MAD is their funniest movie in a modern setting,as well as their best cop movie (i believe) also  set in Miami. :P

Nick & I have been big fans of Terence Hill & Bud Spencer for many years now.

Miami Supercops is probably one of the worst movies they did together - the fight scenes are sparse and the few that appear are poorly staged.  Bud Spencer just looks like he needs a good sit down (being in the audience during a Ruggero Deodato Q&A, he mentioned that when he worked with Spencer, he wanted to be sitting down in as many scenes as possible!)

Most of the Spencer/Hill movies set in the modern day (especially in an American setting) could have been improved by judicious pruning during post-production, making them tighter and less ponderous.

Probably our favourite out of all of them is Watch Out! We're Mad!, which sees the guys taking on the Mob in order to get replacement dune buggy out of them.  Donald Pleasance is in it, too - delivering what is probably the most over-the-top performance of his career.  Does anyone know if an anamorphic English language copy of this is out on DVD?

We are also in possession of mint LP soundtracks to one or two of their movies, including Go For It! and Who Finds A Friend, Finds A Treasure (which has got the catchy summer song, Movin't Cruisin' by The Oceans on it!)

Cheers!  :P

I love this song. I wish this will be released on cd some day.

I'm sure it's available somewhere!

Other Spencer/Hill movies with great theme songs include: Watch Out! We're Mad!, Sheriff & The Satellite Kid, They Call Me Trinity, Trinity Is Still My Name, amongst others...

Nick & I picked up an album by Oliver Onions (aka Guido & Maurizio DeAngelis) over a decade ago through a European trader - great stuff!  ::)

Well, soundtrackcollector.com does list the German lp only. Does anyone know for other releases?

in the meantime, I can always listen it online from:

The one we have is on the Ariola label - the sleeve is in English with a sticker on the front with the (I think) Dutch title on it.  The trader we bought it from was Dutch, so I assume that it IS Dutch.

The copy is near mint - with the great poster art on the front (I also have the US one-sheet around somewhere!) and even a pic of The (Fantastic) Oceans on the back.

Cheers!  :P

Hunchback, watched ODDS AND EVENS a couple of days ago which i'd rate as the 3rd most essential Hill & Spencer movie(after WATCH OUT WE'RE MAD and CRIMEBUSTERS) in a modern setting and again theres plenty of Miami in it. ::)

We thought that Odds & Evens was a bit of a duffer, but there are some nice squences and the title tune "Brotherly Love" is pretty catchy.

The picture of the beardless Bud Spencer is pretty surreal, too!  :D
