One of the last attempts at horror from Italy (which fails on all levels) - does anybody know if the UK release includes a trailer?

I just picked up the OOP Image Euroshock disc but there's no trailer included.  :-[

This is a masterpiece compared to I tre volti del terrore (2004)...  :D

It's watchable, but constantly switching between potentially atmospheric/stylish bits and silly cheese- at least it's far more enjoyable than Argento's somewhat "similar in mood" "Phantom of the Opera" ;D

Not that this was the version Marc asked about, but the Scandinavian DVD does feature the (very loooonnng :-*) trailer and both, italian and English audio, but it's long gone oop.

The one that was put out by "Future Film" in Finland, which is also included in the lovely looking Swedish 9 disc "Dario Argento Collection" box set. Both long gone oop though.

Prior to that "Future Film" even included the "Wax Msk" trailer on some of their VHS releases, like their "Widescreen" VHS of the original "Halloween".

That trailer is quite a drag though, giving away literally ALL the good bits, with an annoying narration, seemingly taking forever....rather a showreel than a proper trailer imho... :o

I thought Sergio Salvati's cinematography was nice.

That's correct- right now I don't remember though whether it's as endlessly long as the trailer on the Scandinavian disc :-*

That's the cover of the German DVD:

The German trailer is the English one with English text but dubbed in German so the English soundtrack could be synched to the German trailer.  Like the English trailer, it runs only 1:30 so either the Scandinavian disc has a different trailer or it just seems endless.

I haven't clocked the time of the Scandinavian trailer, but it's certainly running for several minutes, containing virtually ALL the "good bits" (even the "surprise revelation" towards the end) ; I'd guess it's at least trice as long as the other trailer, with dialogues and (annoying) narration in English. I can't remember how often the narrator refers to Argento- but it was quite often. :-*

May be, some of the other Scandinavia-located members remember this looooonnnng "Wax Mask" trailer too....  ::)
