Zombi 3 (Lucio Fulci, 1988)
« on: 10 Jul 2014 - 13:52 »

I cant believe his movie isn't mentioned in its own thread already. This movie is cinematic cheese at its best with some pasta thrown in. I originally saw this from a Asian bootleg VHS with burnt in subs and fell in love with it instantly. Now I know the zombies fight back and we have zombie heads coming out of refrigerators. The gore is so so, killer soundtrack and it has a great pre credit sequence, the actors are stiff as boards but there is something about this movie. I love the scene when the zombie is chasing the girl out of the shack and pierces the gas tank and catches on fire.Pretty good stuff.

I think I've now had three or four copies. I'd love to see the full Fulci version or the footage that was definatly shot my Fulci at least. It is truely one of the most ridiculous but entertaining films out there. It's a shame it hasn't yet appeared on Blu...
