El caminante / The Traveller (Paul Naschy, 1979)
« on: 26 Apr 2010 - 09:30 »

Another really good film directed by Paul naschy which yet again sees him in the title role and bedding loads of really great looking sexy ladies.

A darkly humorous film featuring Naschy as the devil who has decided to have a stroll around on Earth to see what mischief he can get up to. The mischief pretty much centres around whether he can get every good looking female he encounters into bed. This includes nuns and widowed mothers with sick children...

Once again this has had a sterling DVD release from Vellavision in Spain, sadly no English options but the fan sub community does us proud once again with some excellent subtitles - Whoever did these hopefully has got the thanks they deserve!

Great movie and the fan subs are excellent on this one.  The recent fansubs for the Naschy films (both the Vellavision remasters and stuff still in VHS form like ULTIMO DESEO) are all bloody amazing and really open Naschy's films up to viewers who don't speak Spanish.  The poster of this one has always been a favorite too.   ;D

THE DEVIL INCARNATE is likely to be the title for the Blu.
This will be a cartel exclusive ( initially ?) & available sometime in March.
Full details coming soon, but I heard the hosts of the Naschy casts are doing a commentary.
