I'm going a bit out of topic here, but I was wondering: are there any news about what will Argento do next? Or regarding the so called "Masters of Italian Horror" series of films? Last I heard, the series were shelved, but Lamberto Bava, Umberto Lenzi and Sergio Martino were supposed to work on some TV films or series.

Lately, there's been no news regarding genre productions in Italy by the "old guard".
The Dario Argento websites are gone, and it's hard to find out about anything any more.

I think I read somewhere that he's doing a stage play next.

I'll get it if it's around five English pounds at some point. Just so I can watch it in 3D

This is currently available to view 'On Demand' in the US.  We were scanning for a movie to watch over the weekend and my wife asked: "do you want to watch Argento's Dracula?".  My reply..."not really".  (...instead we watched something called "We're the Millers" which was probably worse and less funny...)

Here's a clip of his Opera production. Looks quite funny, but alot of people stood around singing (as is the norm with Opera) - http://www.rainews.it/it/video.php?id=36343

UK release apparently, I'm shocked it's taken this long for it to be picked up by a distributor...

I don't know, but distributors usually shy away from picking up films which have been universally panned.
