Banditi a Milano download?
« on: 27 Jul 2010 - 22:04 »

Does anyone know where I can find Banditi a Milano to download? It doesn't need to be subbed, or dubbed, just acceptable quality.

The reason I've posted this here and not the "Wanted" thread is because I don't have anything to trade it for, and I thought that to do so would be false representation. I hope this was the right thing to do; if not, I'm very sorry.

Can anyone help me? I'm really desperate to see it.

Thanks so much for your time. I hope I haven't inconvenienced anyone!

You can download it for free over at surre**88888 (registration is free)

Not sure how wise it is to post this here? Something tells me this thread will be deleted pretty quick.

Not overly bothered by you mentioning if TV and VHS rips of movies are available online mate but would prefer it if the links were sent via PM please.

I'm not a member of that site so can't see if there's any commercially available stuff on there for free download so have to edit the link this time.

Thanks for editing it - and sorry for posting it in the first place. I kind of kicked myself after - realising a private message would've been the better option.

And 'yes' the site I linked to does have commercially available stuff. I haven't been there for over a year (I was actually surprised it was still up!) and just went to check if Bandits in Milan was there. To be fair though, the emphasis is on the rare+obscure and not mainstream cinema (even if there is a lot of that there as well)

Anyway... sorry, dude - won't happen again.

No worries mate. I waited until TheLine had read your post before editing so she should have got the info  :D

Thank you so much. The registration system for the website you mentioned is currently disabled, but it should be back at some point, I'd imagine. Anyway, thank you so much for your help; I'll check it everyday and hopefully it'll yield something...

Anyway, thanks again for your help, I'm so grateful.

Also, Johnny...I'm a she! heheh...but seriously, sorry for any trouble caused about the link.

Thanks again.

Thanks very much. I have to say, being so new to this and being such an amateur it's sort of difficult to know where to start…

The thing is, most of my entertainment interests centre on things that aren't so much cult as just, well, obscure (for example, Rebecca's Daughters is one of my favourite films ever – a film no one's ever heard of that was only ever available from Germany which is now out of production). Or, they're things that were popular in their day but now no one mentions, like Secret Army or Sapphire & Steel.
This is compounded by the fact that I've been home-schooled for most of my life, and don't really know what's mainstream and what isn't. Like when I first started sixth-form college to get my GCSEs, I was absolutely stunned to learn that no one else my age had ever seen Upstairs, Downstairs (it's like, WTF?!). Similarly, I was surprised to see a Withnail & I thread on here (a film I've seen over and over; I adore it), as I didn't realise that that was still considered cult.

So you see, I'm rather out of my depth here. But my knowledge is slowly increasing, I've read a number of threads on here with interest, and as I become more familiar with everything, I'd very much like to contribute constructively!

Thanks again for your help.
