Bought Nekromantik 2 couple of months ago and watched it this weekend. I haven't seen the first one and have read a lot of these two "classics". The idea of necrophilia have been mentioned in many movies but this one takes it over the top.
The film starts with flashbacks from the first movie

where Robert kills himself very violently and cums while doing it.

After that we see Monika walking in the cemetery and finding a grave with just deceased body. She starts digging in the daylight and some how gets the body to her apartment. And then comes the obligatory sex scene. The first 10 - 15 minutes sets the tone for the whole film, definitely not for the faint hearted or people who get offended easily. In the middle of the film the there are lots of normal things but the tone is always there and Monika is constantly thinking about the body. One of the weirdest moments is when Monika and her boyfriend Mark goes to see a movie about some couple who sit on some roof eating eggs and talking about birds.
The film doesn't contain many violent scenes but when they come they are that much more powerful. Especially the seal scene is disturbing as hell.
Even though the necrophilia is always present in the films atmosphere this film is pretty artistic. It sets the bar very high for other movies involving necrophilia. I have to say that this film is one of the sickest I've ever seen with Serbian Film, Cannibal Holocaust and Human Centipede II.
The J.&B.'s Special European Edition was very good package including 32 page booklet (only last 9 pages are in English), making of documentary, soundtrack and other extras. I could recommend this release to everyone who wants to see this film and the prices are only just above 30€.
