I love this movie - it has everything a Europhile could want: great locations, dodgy accents, gut-munching, and bent coppers. Love it. Unmissable.

Anyone else seen this movie on the big screen?


Nick & I saw in back in '98 or '99 (can't remember off the top of my shiny head) and Jorge Grau was in attendance.  The print of the movie was supposedly the last surviving 35mm print, which was in Spanish and had the nudity during the city sequence removed.

It was a hoot, as I seem to recall that Arthur Kennedy got a laugh even when dubbed into another language!  ::)
