They seem to be putting out a few Euro bits here and there so I thought it was worth having a thread.

1900
Sands Of The Kalahari
Tales That Witness Madness

Coming in October:

The Brain
Greed In The Sun
Taxi For Tobruk

Could be bad news for Olive. Paramount have signed a distribution deal with Warner. Hopefully they still have titles like Dr Terror's House of Horrors under contract but some of the Paramount stuff will be moving to Warner Archive in the future. From blu-ray to MOD DVD. Great!

I read different, olive films have licensed the rebublic catalogue from paramount which wont be touched by this, all warner bros are doing is handling the distribution of the paramount dvds, this comes from the mod 'pro-b' at the blu ray forum, although i could be wrong

Olive were already licensing Paramount titles before taking the Republic library. Originally that was with Lionsgate but Paramount terminated that deal and gave it to Olive. Hopefully, contractually all that is still in place and the titles won't move but it puts in jeopardy Olive, and Criterion for that matter with films like Rosemary's Baby acquiring any more.

Paramount basically aren't interested in releasing their catalogue themselves so it depends on how Warner handles it whether they'll assign a load to the Archive. They already mention 'rarer' titles going that way in the press release.

Seems they are releasing some of the Paramount stuff that Legend had before, I wonder if the ones that Legend previously had on Blu (most they just had on DVD) are the same transfers?
