How good is this film ? i would like to perhaps get this or brothers till we die

In my opinion Day of the Cobra is a much better film. I actually think Brothers Til We Die is the worst Milian/Lenzi crime film.

Even if Cobra won't be English friendly it'll be a great source for future fan dubs and customs.

I really like Day of the Cobra. Let's hope it is English friendly.

If it's decent and doesn't have any subs or a dub, I'll have a go at adding audio to it. I recently added fan subs to the Japanese Blu-Ray of VIRUS. It's a doddle.

Heathen!  ;D

I have to say I'm the complete opposite, I really enjoyed 'La Banda del Gobbo' but don't have fond memories of 'Day of the Cobra' at all - To be fair, I only saw it once via the old US tape (which probably wasn't the best of prints) but all I remember is a dodgy fight with a drag-queen and erm... not much else. To be honest though, I've always thought Castellari's flicks were incredibly overrated - I mean, I just don't think they're anything special - none of them leap out at me and the only one I remember reasonably well is 'Anonymous Avenger' - that was good, but the others have always felt a bit bland (imho)

Are any of these limited editions or is it just the Lenzi titles that are limited to a 1000? I only have limited funds and need to prioritise purchases that may sell out quicker

Also are we to expect any more Lenzi titles or just the two that have been released? The german labels sure know how to package their discs and utilise cool artwork

Yes, the crime titles are all 1000 limited.

... anyone got ideas where it's still possible to pick up 'the cynic, the rat & the fist' disc from film art? >

http://www.amazon.co.uk/linfame-violento-limited-English-Subtitles/dp/B009OLHQUI

i think it should be possible to hit the £20 mark, all in. not sure about german retailers or how to search for them.

managed to find 'brothers til we die' for £17 (again, all in) today.

also, just going to say that i can't keep track of all the italian police / crime movies out there on DVD which might be english friendly. preferred subbed ones, but film art doesn't seem consistent on providing them. nobody does. so there's more of a challenge to see which films are out there - the german titles aren't helping me, either ... !

They were dearer when they came out so I'd jump on them prices if I didn't have them in case they run out.
