Without being rude you need to bite the bullet and pay for titles like this. These aren't mass produced by a big firm or colossal studio, every sale counts and unless some div decides to sell theirs at a ridiculously cheap price on eBay, you're never going to see much of a price drop. If you truly love these films, my advice is to prioritise releases like this - they're not going to be around forever and you'll be supporting a firm like FilmArt to release more obscure titles.

i've no problem with supporting small labels per se. predominantly, since i developed a backlog of stuff to watch - something which seems quite common - and since the economy dipped, i've found it possible to predominantly wait it out and see things drop. sure, limited releases - something germany seems to do lots of - are more expensive, but i've just fallen out of the habit of paying high prices very often. most of what i've watched over the years has been japanese, and the odd subbed release from there could easily come in at £30+; lots of the things i bought were USA discs, usually around £7+ at one time, but companies have also folded over the years, too. blu-rays are something i might now normally pay £7 - 12 for, so a DVD that i hadn't released had happened, however limited, from a country i've never been a close follower of, can seem like a stretch. anyway, i bought both 'brothers til we die' and 'cynic, the rat and the fist' this week. i really liked lenzi's 'almost human' when no shame released it - didn't have to pay for that one, as i always got promo copies of official no shame USA releases for free back then.
