Anyone seen this? Looks pretty good.
Never heard of it but it does look like it might be worth a gander.

Shot on video and therefore very studio-bound compared to Euston's output, but otherwise I thought Villains was quite 'proto-Sweeneyesque'. Some fantastically downbeat episodes with standout performances from William Marlowe and David Daker among others. The only weak episode for me was the Martin Shaw one - his performance is overly theatrical and the cockney accent is all over the place. He also looks incongruously like some Mongol warlord!

I didn't mind the Shaw one. Even though the Daker episode was a cracker I thought his accent wasn't as good as Shaw's, you keep hearing the Brummie accent slip out here and there.

I'm up to episode 8 at the moment.

Mongol Warlord, that had me laughing  :-\

I was surprised to see Mrs.McCluskey from Grange Hill in it.

Finished the last of the 13 episodes this evening. Really enjoyed the whole series. Wasn't quite as good as Out of The Hanged Man but still a worthy edition to the collection and I'm glad I've seen it.

I wonder if Network have anything similar to these lined up?
