Saw this cracking French crime film tonight and it's great! Directed by Cavaye (who made Anything for Her - which was remade as The Next Three Days), Point Blank focuses on a nurse's aid who is forced to spring a criminal who has been admitted to the hospital where he works. With his pregnant wife abducted awaiting a certain death, the hospital worker has no choice but to get involved and what follows is a slick, violent chase film that never stops for a breath. Well worth checking out.
