There's plenty of gems coming in 2012 from the fandub community , but mike's doc will be the icing on the cake:)

And as for merlin , he deserves a nobel prize for his hardwork in making italian genre cinema more understandable to us poor English Only speakers  ::)

Finally a belated Merry Chistmas and A Successful New year to all

A big thanks to the guys who spent tiresome hours doing fandubs of all those Italian crime films. I'm sure Mike's project will rejuvenate the genre to unseen heights. I think I know why I thought interest in the genre was down. I noticed there haven't been any new fanDUBS in a while, but it just occurred to me, there are very few Italian crime films that are top quality, meaning those on DVD in Italy that haven't been done yet.
I can think of only 3: TORINO NERA (BLACK TURIN), LA BANDA DEL TRUCIDO (DIRTY GANG/DESTRUCTION FORCE and CORRUZZIONE AL PALAZZO DI GIUSTIZIA (CORRUPTION AT THE PALACE OF JUSTICE/SMILING MANIACS). I think all others released on DVD in Italy that English tracks releases exist have already been done. It would be great if these few left could be done. I have the Italian DVDs for all 3. Does anyone know any other films that have English tracks and an Italian DVD to match?

Yes, I have the fansubbed LA BANDA DEL TRUCIDO but I'm surprised no one did the fandub. 2 other films that have fansubs but not dubs are CITY UNDER SIEGE  (UN UOMO PER LA CITTA) and NICK THE STING (Gli amici di Nick Hezard).
I can supply you with copies OF TORINO NERA & CORRUZZIONE AL PALAZZO DI GIUSTIZIA if you send me your address. One more that needs to be done is BISTURI LA MAFIA BIANCA (HOSPITAL THE WHITE MAFIA). I can supply you with that one too.

Progress report 1

Gli Amici di Nick Hezard is now fandubbed - Dual Audio - a subbed avi and dvdr to be uploaded on CG in the next few hours.

dvdr has menu and extra's stripped , a problem with the ifo meant it was'nt burning properly with the added audio , and as most already have the italian dvd its not the end of the world

Subtitles are now in the dvd tho and not a patch.

The English dub is awful  , everyone sounds like their in an episode of allo allo
