I love this film a lot -- a wild assortment of characters and an even wilder script, Daniel Emilfork as Satan, Erika Blanc in awesomely effective make-up, a great Alessandroni soundtrack and an all-around fantastic atmosphere. I really hope this one will make it onto BD sooner or later. I always wondered what the director Jean Brismée has been up to ever since. Sadly it looks like he didn't lens another film afterwards.

Maybe it's not even worth mentioning but there seems to exist a dtv remake from 2012. Who would have thought?

"The Devil's Nightmare" Teaser Trailer
Unsurprisingly, it looks like total crap.

Redemption had this planned for release on bd but ended up in a legal fight over rights and ending up walking away from it before it got costly.

Thanks man, I didn't know that. Too bad, but I am confident it will resurface some day. Hopefully with some nice extras! It's a title just too good to pass up.
