As mentioned,i saw this at our local picture house,and i thought it looked pretty good,i dont know if it was projected from a blu ray or an HD file? I suppose tanzi will be putting this on his amazon wishlist

I didn't want to say, but I was sure that was case after seeing it on the big screen. Damn shame, this film has to be loud.

No idea as yet, I'm hoping it's the same as the Synapse ones transfer wise, but not marred by Waddell extras.

What makes you think it will be them monstrosities rather than the Synapse transfer on even a new one (which is doubtful)?

Well, the Synapse discs are the same transfer as the Arrow discs (but with additional work done on them) and I can't really see the Japanese discs being anything more than what was given to them.
