Ok i looked everywhere in the horror thread and could not find a topic on 'demoni' so i thought it was a good time to start one.
I just came back from seeing the film at our picture house cinema in Exeter,courtesy of arrow films.Surprise surprise it looks pretty damn good.There was grain still intact(not loads) and there was not a single waxy face on the screen.I am not going to pretend to be an expert on tech issues and i have never seen the film projected from a print,but i thought it looked pretty sweet.I have not bought many arrow blu's but will be picking up this.
Oh and some twat managed to get the quad poster before i had a chance,not happy

Haven't seen this for years and years, I think it might have been via the UK VHS release (was that cut?). Wouldn't mind catching up with it again soon.

I first saw it via a super cheap english vhs which was cut,when it was first put onto dvd i believe the only cut required was to the scene with the punks where the girl has a razor blade caressed around her breast and is seriously enjoying it,but if memory serves me right there was a cock up and the uncut version was released and then pulled a few weeks later.
As i said i was never a big fan of the film but its amazing how a real cinema showing can change your perspective of a film.Still not a great film,but pretty damn fun and i really love the soundtrack

It was initially released by Divid 2000, then there was a release by Platinum that I think might have been only available in Blockbuster. Platinum 'accidentally' released the uncut version but it was certified shortly afterwards and passed uncut.

How was the sound for this?
I saw the Arrow print at Dead by Dawn, great print but the mono track was too low meaning the punch of the soundtrack was non-existent!

The film should be in Dolby Stereo (the U.S. prints were in mono).

Anybody got their Demons DVD's? What's the audio / visual department like? My copies have apparently shipped from Amazon this morning, how slow?

Got the blu-ray steelbook yesterday & checked out Demons this morning. The video looks pretty damn good to my eyes, although I wouldn't mind the reds being a little bloodier  There are a couple of audio glitches to the music (was it the same on dvd? I don't recall). They are at 43:30 & 45:58 for anyone wanting to check. They are only present on the English track not the Italian. The little bit of the Italian track that I have listened to sounds much punchier than the English track.

No, but there are individual releases coming from Arrow later this month with the usual packaging design.
