Now I did enjoy this one, a wonderfully subtle horror and the crowning point of Bava's gothic horror films. Pity about the terrible titles though, I think the British title 'Curse of the Living Dead' is most apt.

Just reviewed Kill Baby Kill[/url].

BTW: Did anyone else notice that although ostensibly set in Transylvania, the settings felt a lot more Italian almost Spaghetti Western-esque. I wonder if the location was changed late in production or since the film was made in a mere fortnight if they just used existing sets from another film?

Re: the locations for KBK, Bava did use them in other films. Most notable, I think, is LISA & THE DEVIL. The aborted Dark Sky dvd has a short featurette with Lamberto Bava at some locations.
