http://www.paniccinema.com/?p=1023A couple of weeks ago I got to see Torso (Digital HD) and Gambling City (35mm) on the big screen. Sergio Martino and Luc Merenda were both there.
12€ with two
free surprise beers and a signing session - not bad at all!
There was a Q&A, Martino is looking to do a sequel to Torso and is continuing to do TV movies.
I got my Gambling City Noshame DVD signed by both of them along with another Merenda/Martino disk.

I spoke to Luc (in French

), he is really nice. But during the Q&A and intro, his mannerisms brought the feeling the film business is really a relic for him...not sure how to explain that, I felt he was keen to get away even though it was obvious he was enjoying himself. Luc also mentioned in the Q&A that he had a text from Tarantino! Nice one!
My Italian friend chatted away to Sergio, he asked him about the long shot he did in Torso where Suzy Kendall is trapped in the room and how he did it and where he got the idea. I need to ask my friend exactly what he replied.
Sergio must have been in a good mood or had too much French wine as he smiled!
An awesome one-shot evening!!!
Some nice pics:
