From Beyond is a good film but Second Sight are also releasing it in the UK so I'll see which is better.

They seem to be mining the MGM catalogue so that's good news and I'd certainly be up for The Burning too. I've never been a huge slasher fan but that's up there and one I watch fairly regularly. Seeing as Shout released all the New World stuff it'd be nice for them to get hold of some of the AIP Cormans but I think they've gone to TGG Direct who are doing budget releases with them.

I'll take a BD of Death Line/Raw Meat.

I'll take a BD of Death Line/Raw Meat.

Now that would be an essential release!

I remember 'Prison' being a pretty decent horror last time I watched it (80s?). Terrorvision I haven't seen, but The Video Dead has a sizeable cult following.

EXCLUSIVE SPECIAL "Halloween Weekend" ANNOUNCEMENT**

Cannon films X-RAY (1981 - aka: HOSPITAL MASSACRE with Barbi Benton), SCHIZOID (1980 - starring Klaus Kinski) and THE GODSEND (1980 - starring Donald Pleasence's daughter, Angela) are on tap for a release late in 2013! All three have never been out on DVD before.

As mentioned yesterday, these films will not show up on our schedule until later in 2013 so we cannot confirm they will be on Blu-ray as we have not seen the masters yet. We say this only to manage expectations. More details on these fun flicks will be presented next year.

I wonder if MGM still have the rights over there to SCANNERS. I'd have thought it's something they could have got hold of unless MGM value Cronenberg too highly.

I think Second Sight are planning to release all three on BD over here.

The Fog and The Burning are must haves for me. I've seen an HD broadcast of the latter and it looked fantastic.

THE BURNING is my favourite slasher - probably because it was the first one I ever saw (I was probably about 12) - also watched the 'STRONG UNCUT' vhs of ZOMBIE FLESH EATERS the same day. Life was forever changed.
