I thought I'd seen all the Spencer/Hill collaborations. Not the case. Sure I've never even heard of this one.

Starring Terence Hill, Bud Spencer, Jean-Pierre Aumont and Robert Loggia.

Released on Blu Ray end of January.

According to amazon de it has an English language track, let's hope that's the case.

BTW, I'm not sure that Two Missionaries is the English title (or one of them)

Oh the childhood nostalgia -- no holidays without Spencer & Hill movies. I still like their films a lot and I have to say that this is one of my favourite of theirs. Say what you will about these happy slapping and loose tongue extravaganzas: unlike most of their later stuff PORGI L'ALTRA GUANCIA even manages to touch on some rather adult-oriented themes (colonialism, slavery, church corruption), which adds a nice layer of extra life to the plot.

I wonder what the BD will do because the photography has always looked a bit drab to my eyes in all incarnations of the film I have seen so far. But Mr. Tanzi be warned: According to these product previews here and here the disc will only include German and Italian language tracks.

That's a damn shame.

Is there even an English friendly DVD anywhere? I love Spencer/Hill films and thought I had seen all the films they did together. So even if the Blu Ray is no good to me I'd be happy to watch it on VHS or a DVD-R from a VHS or whatever just so I can see it.

I've been told by giallohunter Daniel that there is a Finnish tape at least.
