I've watched the first few episodes of season one and am hooked. Jeremy Irons is fantastic in the role of Rodrigo Borgia. Lavish sets and clothing, this really is a great series and am looking forward to what further episodes have in store.

The first two episodes were directed by Neil Jordan.

This is a series that I actively watch when it airs on the Showtime network. Pretty good stuff -- lots of intrigue, illicit sex, murder, etc. That Micheletto is one nasty little fucker.

...and in season two so far he has totally outdone his season one nastiness

Finished season one and have watched the first four episodes of season two. It just gets better and better as it goes on.

Highly recommended.
