Spaghetti House (Giulio Paradisi, 1982)

I've never heard of this one, looks interesting, a few known English actors in it too, Rita Tushingham, Rudolph Walker, Derek Martin, John Woodvine.

Three black militants kidnap the waiters in an Italian restaurant in London. Soon the victims befriend their kidnappers.

And Derek 'Charlie Slater in Eastenders' Martin too. Seriously, a good find.

I wouldn't have mentioned him (or Rudolph Walker) for Eastenders though.  :D

Check out the excellent Law And Order.

He's in O Lucky Man and was in Dr. Who in the frightening episode 'Image of the Fendahl'

He's perhaps best known for the Derek Ford film DIVERSIONS.

This is based on a true event that happened here in London in the 70s  -  I remember it in the news at the time.

My dad was working near there when it all kicked off.

I'm too young to remember it as I was two at the time. I've been told that they have newspaper clippings from the event framed on the wall in the Knightsbridge branch.

Managed to get hold of a copy. It's ok for a watch but nothing special, nice to see some of the London locations for the time though. It's mainly in English but 10-15% of the film is in Italian, as I watched it via a Scandinavian release there were no Subs for them scenes.
