Blazing Magnum Screenings presents A Day of Crime, 1st June 2013, A Small Cinema, Manchester

A Day of Crime is an introduction to the world of the Italian police film. A sub genre of action and crime that reached it's peak in the late 70's/early 80's set to a backdrop of mafia bosses, spectacular car chases, iron commissioners and more importantly, down and dirty violence. Two classics of the genre will be shown along side Mike Malloy's incredible documentary Eurocrime! The Italian Cop and Gangster Films that Rule the 70's. The line up for the day is as follows:

A Small Cinema is a 70 capacity bespoke cinema located in the Miners Arts and Community Centre, Moston, Manchester. The venue has a fully licenced bar and is easily accessible from Manchester City Centre.

I hope you can join me for hopefully the first of many Eurocrime events!
