13 years ago I was pretty much out of the loop. Still went to a few of the fests and stuff but the 'almost raid' had taken the fun out of everything and I wasn't as immersed in the scene as I was in the late eighties/very early nineties.

Got to add my love of this film to the list, it cheers me up no end whenever I watch it. Sure it makes little or no sense but god damn it's a whole heap of fun! 5/5 for me  ::)

Fuck I'd forgotten they bringing it out Kev. Just picked up a R1 in a slimline case bound to be a bootleg but I couldn't wait. I'll double dip if the CC release is any better though.

The original elements no longer exist, apparently.

As the Beeb now hold the UK rights to it, the Cinema Club copy will probably be struck from the master that they use for their TV broadcasts, which isn't too bad, but it certainly isn't up to the high standards that DVD demands.  It's also full-screen, too.  :-[

I have the complete soundtrack on disc somewhere. If anyone's interested, let me know and I'll upload it.

The soundtrack was released by Trunk Records - not the best quality but worth every penny! Check it out:

The soundtrack was released by Trunk Records

I was once mistaken for Johnny Trunk by a lady who buys CDs for a London record shop. She ordered 15 copies of my 'Squadra Gialli' mix CD thinking I was Mr Trunk. It was only after I'd sent off the CDs and she had them on the shelves that Mr Trunk went into the shop and she commented on his new CD only for him to tell her it was a different Johnny!  ::)

She still ordered 10 more though!  :P
