And another update:
I've been pondering a few options with this one. I figure what we need here is the audio track from 'Giochi Erotici...' and, for a while, I was considering a lab in Rome but I've just found a new lead which might be even better (a film enthusiast with projectors, etc...) I'll be chasing up this lead in the next week or two. I'm hesitant to send the reels up to Germany simply because they've done so much already and if I can find a local option it saves sending the reels through the post. If I can get the audio extracted I can ask Dario to sync it up to the Spanish telecine.
I'm still not sure about 'Le Salamandre' - ideally I'll get it checked out by this new contact here in Italy and, if he says there may still be some colour left, then I'll try sending that to Germany instead.
I've been busy as a bee for the last few months working on a load of stuff for 88Films and DementedUK and Xavier - kind of (very) burnt out at the moment but I'll slowly get back into the swing of things over the next month. As always, thanks for your patience. These projects are still very much in my mind but I'm trying to weigh up the best options...
