Gomorrah TV Series
« on: 09 Sep 2014 - 07:07 »

Anyone seen any of this yet? It's started on Sky Atlantic as far as I'm aware, can't find any decent quality copies out there yet with English subs though.

Yeah I've tried to no avail. Luckily I have Sky so have it backed up, I'll look into ripping from a sky box but it maybe too tech for me.

It's really good btw

I've been recording it on Sky, but not had chance to watch it. Might save them all and watch them in one go. When I was in Italy the Italians were raving about it.

It's now very difficult to rip from Sky. Used to have a box that could do it, got lots of cool off air HD recordings.

That's a nice looking box.

Jonny, I opted for the UK blu. The subs on the version I was going to give you were shite

37.86 euros.

Dearer than the U.K. one I know but the U.K. release obviously isn't for me  :D

Can't say I have a problem with the UK BD. Seems people are being arsey for the sake of it. It's fine

From what I gather, the Italian BDs have several special features (not sure if English friendly), and 5.1 audio (the UK BD has 2.0 audio).

Finished watching it this evening, good stuff, really enjoyed it. Picture quality was fine, none of the jagged edges etc that people have reported in the U.K. release.

The second series started filming last month so at least we know there is going to be more. ::)

Watched the first two episodes this afternoon and love it so far. Via the Arrow Blu, quality looked mint to my eyes. I don't have 5.1 so the audio isn't something I can comment on apart from that I could hear what was going on and there wasn't any problems with the audio I could hear with my ears

He didn't, but maybe my overdose of all things Stewart lately has subconsciously altered my mind.
